Finally Starting To Make A Run On First Cutting

Put up almost 3000 bale over the fourth of July weekend. The old 60-T made about half of them and only missed about 30 bales (The other half was baled by a lot newer John Deere 336 and it missed a lot more bales so Oliver wins again!!! HAHA). Part of the problem was I found one tucker finger was way out of adjustment and changing that took care of a lot of the problem. Now I just have to figure out why the outside knotter wont cut the twine every once in a while, I know the knives are sharp cause I almost cut my finger when I was checking them so I gotta tinker with that a little bit more, if anybody has any ideas I can use all the help I can get. But I cant knock it to hard for being a 54 year old baler I paid $350 for and put it right in the field with almost no work.

We more or less have ours all wrapped up now. Busted it hard last weekend and put another 2500 bales in the barn on to of what was already up there, and now we wait until the next crop. We bale with our Massey 285 and #12 baler. Put about $400 of parts into the baler this year and it was well worth it.
