550 Serial Number

I am trying to figure out which serial number to use. I can't find a plate, but I have one on the engine, the bottom of the transmission, and on on the bottom of the front half of the tractor. The largest number is under the transmission and it is 111-641. Thanks.

The plate should be by the clutch petal. depending on the age of the tractor the engine serial number will be stamped on the right rear flange of the block. This will be a long number. Later tractors have the engine numbers stamped on the right side of the block next to the generator or alternator. The 3 casting numbers next to the starter are the casting numbers for the block and there were at least 3 or 4 of them as well. Is this a gas or diesel?

It is gas. The engine number is by the generator and it is 70,xxx, I don't remember off the top of my head.
