For instance, an Oliver 550 has a main pump limited to 1500 psi... It is worth checking your model specs. There is always the option of adding a secondary PTO driven hydraulic pump, but it is pretty expensive upgrade.

The 770 & 880 operators manual lists 1000 PSI for hydraulic relief valve setting & 13 GPM at rated engine speed.

If 1000 PSI isn't enough, a cheaper option than a different tractor or PTO pump might be a larger diameter cylinder, if you can find one that fits. Maybe double up the cylinders? Either way, if you double the effective surface area of the ram(s) it should take half as much pressure, but twice as much volume.
