PTO clutch

Would it be of benefit to me to spray the clutch out with brake cleaner while I have the cover off? It wasn't running when I got it so I don't know how it works

Pull the long shaft out (3 bolt) and clamp the shaft in a vice and inspect the clutch by taking it apart (6 fine threaded cap screws) and keep the shim pacs separate. Questions call me I will be in and out this week. J.

Thanks john I will check that out. By the way is an Oliver 70 manifold the same as a 77 as in both intake and exhaust
