Continental flathead ?

I found a Continental flathead F162 out of a forklift, will it fit in a Cockshutt 20?

Yes it should fit, you will have to use the front cover/motor mount off the f140 that was in the 20. Other than that everything should be pretty straight forward. Depending on the application the new motor came from the oil fill may be different but should work fine.

In addition to Jim's comments, your may also have issues with, the governor and match to your CK20 hydraulic pump, water pump, and stud arrangement on the rear of the crank shaft.

thanks for your info, I was just kicking around the idea but I don't think I'll mess with my 20 Deluxe. If I could find a standard 20 cheap I might do it
