It has the casting for the power traction hitch.

I have a late model super 77 with the new style rear end,much heavier,can only pull 4500,weighs about three to four hundred more that regular 77.

They made a run of Super 88 tractors after they had been some 880 tractors. So the tractor would have probably used the 880 housing or 2 there was a problem with the old case and a replacement case was installed. Do you have a tractor serial number? They had a service bulletin one time which package you would need if you had to replace the transmission case. My 2 cents worth. J.

Thanks John, I thought maybe a few of the late ones could have the 880 rear. No I don't have the serial number. My 77 has 770 replacement rear and a super 77 replacement tub. Chuck
