I would give a call to Parsons ...

The pictures are not very clear, but this inscription makes me think they might have sold this tractor at some point.

That is the second Parsons loader I have seen. The one my neighbor had was a 1650 Oliver diesel. The loader and backhoe were built by Parsons. I had a 1650 Oliver with the Reverse-O-Torc and loader and the Parsons looked just about the same. Greg

It is not a 1650. The first picture is clear enough you can see some of the details on the dash which from that angle makes it look like a 1600. When you get it home check for a serial number. You can get manuals from the museum in Charles City

J., the exhaust manifold looks like a 1600 also. The neighbors Parsons backhoe had the 283 engine with energy cells. Have a couple pics of the dash and engine from my 1650. The dash has the throttle lever from my 1555. I also have a pic of the PTO off the 1650 parts tractor that my I&T book calls a dual speed pto unit. We had talked on the phone about the pto and finally got a pic of it 2 years later.

this has the reverse/foward foot controls and it originally had a backhoe on it.

Doug, put Oliver 1600 backhoe in the search box above and you will get a lot of good info. Here is a couple pics of the one I had that needed Reverse -O-Torc rebuilt. I didn't have money for it and I had a 1555 that needed the engine rebuilt. You can see the front end is even the same. Have fun with it and keep it in low when loading. Greg
