1855 priority valve block.

The priority valve is leaking from the hose or pipe fitting that goes in the open bore in the pic.
I suspect the previous owner blew a hose and rigged something up as it appears the 1" pipe adapter he used does not fit properly and i can't get it to seal with teflon tape.
The 1" ID bore has straight tread and a smooth section in the bottom that ends in a slightly tapered flat.It appears a fitting with straight tread and 0 ring groove at the end is used there
My parts book don't show a break down of the priority valve, neither does the repair manual.

My question,
does any of you have a valve handy that you could take that fitting out and post a pic of it.(i think any 55 series model has the same valve block)

Thanks

The 55 series used a special fitting with an o-ring and a crimp type adapter. The hose going up to the three point block did not have a fitting on the valve end it was just a 90 degree smooth piece of tubing this fitting slid on. You will need the right hose and special fitting to make it seal. The 105s and up used a regular flare fitting hose and adapter.

Thanks 2-stroke, I suspected some thing like that.
Is that fitting(nut, crimp barrel and insert with O ring) the same size as the ones used on the short hose going from top rear of the valve to the pump?

Well i have a line and fitting coming tomorrow from the wrecker.
$60 + freight. The line is free but he wants his labor paid..fair enough.
Would be same price as from the dealer but i would have to wait a couple weeks as nothing is in stock
