44 Corn Planter

What is the correct color scheme for a 44 planter and where do the decals go. Thanks

Gordey, The only decal I see is on the outside of the front can centered Color I cant tell Hope this helps Brad

Mine came with a decal set from dumont and there are 2 oliver superior 44 decals, I thought they must go on the cans but I didn't know if they went on the fertilizer or corn boxes.. Mines red with green cans but that doesn't seem right.

The 1948 advertising on that planter shows the planter is all red except for the seed and feterilizer cans (boxes) and the fertilizer tubes. The boxes and tubes were painted green. The decals were yellow and were only on the seed boxes. They said "OLIVER" on one line, "SUPERIOR" on an angle on the second line and the number "44" below the superior decal.

can anyone scan a picture from the advertisement for a 44 planter so I can see what it should look like and the decals...where can I get the planter decals?

I got decals from Dumont's for my tractor, and called them. They told me exactly where they went. Might want to call them.
