I really thought this would be easy to figure out by searching the internet but i didnt find any answers. How can you
tell a Super 77 apart from a Super 88? I had a friend drop off what he told me was going to be a Super 88 and the more
i look at it and wash it up, the more i wonder if its a Super 77. Here is the serial number, 28-005-702. What does
the 702 mean? Always heard it was a tranny / rear end code. By the first 5 digits it a late 55 S77 or S88. I know
they have different motors but can you tell from the physical appearance?
