Smile For The Camera

Got done planting a couple weeks ago and finished cleaning up equipment. After 2 hours of power washing and 2 hours of waxing I thought it would be cool to take Big Hoss up in front of our 100 year old bank barn for a photo. Just wish I could have got done a little sooner so the sun would have been a little higher. Unfortunatley all the cleaning may go to waste because if we dont get some rain soon I may be replanting beans. They came up fine in the lighter soil but they are struggling in the clay.

Good lookin Oliver ! I know what you mean about the replanting, The last ones were planted 2 weeks ago Saturday and they need rain bad. Some are up some haven't sprouted yet and the field looks rough, But all the others I planted before look good but they all need rain. They said that last month we were 4 1/2" of rain under average and sense the 23 of May we have had 2 tenths" of rain in 2 showers and the ground is getting dry. It make a guy wonder. Bandit

It never fails. 4 weeks ago when we were trying to get everything planted it rained almost every other day and everyone was screaming for it to quit. Got the last field in the ground and it got hotter than heck and didnt rain for 8 days, got a 2 inches out of a shower but that was over a week ago now and it was so dry that even the 2 inches didnt do a whole lot and now everyone is hollaring for more rain.

cant get it to stop long enough to cut hay here---yet been rainin every day---feel for you guys.
