Need used steering box or worm gear 550 power steering

Hi Folks
My steering box died. The double sector missing teeth (available) and worm gear snapped.
Does anyone have or know where to find a used or rebuilt steering box. If not, could probably get by rebuilding mine if I could find a worm gear
assy. My tractor has power steering (char lynn) so believe different from manual box. Have loader so would like to keep power steering.

The steering box of the 550 is likely one of the most vulnerable part of the tractor, especially when you have a loader added. I would advise you to look for a 550 for parts you could recycle whenever you need it. I got one for the price of the steering box alone . I already used it for replacement of my 3 points hydraulic control valve. Would my steering, engine, hydraulic pump starter, generator, transmission gears (each worth hundreds each), carb, wheel etc, I got a spare on hand. This is a big inverstment at first, but the least expensive way to maintain your tractor working on the long run. Gaskets and consumables are easy to order, but steeting and transmission gears are likely not economical to rebuild,

Gaskets and consumables are easy to order, but steeting and transmission gears are likely not economical to rebuild, there are some companies specialized in industrial gearbox rebuilding that may be able to help for impossible to find parts, but custom made stuff is not cheap.
