1800 b valves (310 diesel )

Can any one please tell me the proper way to set valve lash in thi engine I've have had serveral in successful attempts and I'm pulling my hair out over this please help !!

There is a way to set them all in one revolution but i turn the engine over till on lets say cyl no 6 the intake is opening and the exh is closing, at that point no 1 is at top dead center and on both valves the lash can be set at that point.( it will be the same for no 6 when both valves are are in the midst of opening and closing on no 1
Do the same with no 2 and 5 and 3 and 4.
Takes 2 revolutions to do them all.
