Has anyone relined brake bands on a 60 lately ? Are linings and rivets available from AGCO ?

I do not have a 60 parts book, so If someone could check a number in their parts book I would surely appreciate it. I have a partial set of new old stock linings and rivets that appear to be correct - the part no. on the box is : LS 775B . Does that match up ?

I would like to know if a backup is available before I go drilling, countersinking holes, and riveting the lining material that i have.

Thanks for any help gentlemen.

McMaster-Carr has what you are looking for. They have the linings all different widths, thickness and, lengths. They also have different materials. They have rivets and the tools.

The rivet part number is C-771-A. That part number goes back to the model 80 tractor.

Part number C-771-A would get you a box of 100!

Thanks to everyone for the helpful replies. Looks like I should be able to proceed with this job. I think I will order a 60 parts book from the Floyd Co. Museum also. John Scweibert : The linings that I have are molded to exactly the correct radius to fit my drums so maybe the early band brake 66 used the same diameter drum.
