I finally got the discs & seals, so I'm starting to work on the brakes
I pulled the actuator out on the left side, but one bolt (with the yoke) facing the rear of the tractor was not in the hole. the nut apparently came off, but wasn't in there. The threads were a bit damaged, but I cleaned them up. That bolt is solid in the arm, so apparently the actuator turned on that bolt. Is that bolt splined into the arm (yoke)? Or should it be loose in the arm? Now the front one seems to be solid in the actuator, & doesn't seem to be splined into the arm, the arm is loose on the bolt. Is that the way they are supposed to work? or is something wrong?? Do I need to get a lock nut for the rear that is missing.
Also is there a bearing right close to the seal. Wouldn't want to damage a bearing when I put a screw into the old seal to pull it out.
Thanks in advance for the help.
