Early Cockshutt 30 Brake Shoes.

Anyone have a set of pads or shoes for the external brakes used in early models. Tried to make a set out of MM U but won't bend enough.

Hi We have the lining kits on stock here for all the Cockshutt built tractors. The Model 30 / E3 trctor used 4 different brake systems depending on the production. Please describe the brakes that your tractor has. The first 10,000 tractors have a ban brake inside a pear shaped cast cover.

The next series of brakes were exposed duo-grip pinch brakes 1.75 inches wide 10,000 thru 26,200, At Tractor serial # 26201 the linings were 2.00 inches wide.

The latest brakes @ about SN 34,000 were automotive style shoe brakes with a round closed tin cover.
