That's how we did it when I was growing up in the 50's and 60's. I can still hear it zing every time a stick was cut. My job was to catch the wood
and throw it on the woodpile. Daddy ran it off a H farmall with a belt. Tommy
 
Yep likewise that's the way we made wood for the winter back in the 50's, I also had the job of throwing the pieces on the pile, Dad had a "Z" Moline on the belt.

Im in central Saskatchewan. Thats a 70 oliver Ind. cheap paint does not pay. Orange turns in to pink. Cattle prices have never been higher. A good time to have some.
