1755 Clutch and Over/Under Parts

I'm replacing the clutch and rebuilding the over/under on my 1755. I have a decent AGCO dealer in my area - is this the best place to get parts?
I don't want to spend more than I have to, but I want decent stuff
Thanks
Pete

AGCO will pretty much be the only place to get parts for the over/under. For clutch parts, A&I carries Hy-Capacity which is a pretty good name when it comes to clutch parts. Going that route will save some money compared to buying from AGCO. And last I had heard, even the AGCO clutches were Hy-Capacity.

I just rebuild an O/U.
The clutch parts and the roller and cage assemblies in the planetary(needle bearings) and sprag clutch can only be had by the dealer.
For other hard parts and the planetary carrier bearing(4" dia needle brng) your best bet is a salvage yard as dealer prices are prohibitive.
The dealer wanted over half a grand for that 4" carrier bearing alone , i got a very good one from the salvage yard for $50.

Count the teeth on your direct clutch friction discs, there was an update on the later O/U's

Thanks guys-
I have a used one that I was going to install, but I figured most of the work is in getting it out, so I might better rebuild what I have, so I know what I've got.
Hopefully if it needs anything that's super expensive, I can cabbage the parts from the used one.
Also, I seem to remember someone posting a procedure for bench testing it before putting it back in the tractor - I have the shop manual, but I don't think it covers that.
Thanks again
Pete
