What Model 1967 Plows?

1970-1655

I want to add to my collection/show display. I have a 1967 1650 diesel dad bought new. I know we had a 4-16 semi-mounted plow but have not found the manual for it. The receipt when we bought it just says 4-16 semi plow. What model plow would that be in 1967? Also, I would like to have a 3 point mounted plow for the shows and plow days as it would be easier to load on the trailer. What model would I look for?

Thanks

565 would be a good choice. We sold a bunch of 365 mounted plows behind 1600 tractors. We also about probably 10 roll over plows behind a650 tractors which would make for a little different mounted plow. I think there was a 3244 mounted as well. Never sold one. A 546 came out about in that time frame as well.

565 looks like the plow we had. I guess I am now in search of a 4-16" 365 plow, maybe. Mounted plow would be easier to haul to shows or plow days. I have never been near a roll over plow. How much would one weigh, compared to a standard 3 point mounted plow? I may be interested in one if I could find one close. With the semi-mounted 4-16, we ran the starter weight and 2 slab weights and it still got a little light on clay hills.

You would have to step down to a 2 or 3 bottom with a rollover, they are heavy. But would make a nice setup for shows/plow days. 3-bottom rollover would need a LOT of front weight on a 1650, they are marginal for those plows, usually used on 17 and 18xx tractors.
