if it rains it pours with this 1550. took it to do some ground leveling with the loader.
all of a sudden I see I'm getting oil squirting up at me, not a big stream but bad enough. I look down & the oil is shooting up from where that big plug screws in to the little cylinder where it goes to the rad. I also tapped my power steering into it . every time I turn my power steering oil shoots up, also my loader is hooked up to the hydraulics at the rear of the tractor where the implements connect. So also when I lift the loader up or down oil shoots up. looks like right where the gasket should be. Is there a copper or other kind of gasket that should is there, & needs replacing? And it's squirting out of almost a pin hole. If I open that plug will a bunch of stuff come flying out? is there a restriction somewhere?
thanks in advance for any help.

Alright: First of all the steering cylinder you have is not an Oliver cylinder. You have a manual steering wheatland front end that someone added a power steering cylinder too. Your Power steering motor under the dash may or may not be the same as used on an Oliver. You also have a wheatland style hydraulic unit instead of the common rowcrop unit with a 3 point like most of these people have. So still have my e-mail send me some pictures and post them on here as well before you have most of us confused. J.

Sorry, not meant to confuse anyone, just asking for help from the forum members & your expertise. The hydraulic motor is a Char Lynn, & I hooked it up according to your instructions in an earlier post last fall. Yes I still have your email, & will send you some pictures today. As well will try to post some here.
thanks John

Mike I will try & post some pictures today. It is to the left & under the seat. A line goes from it to the rad, to cool the oil I presume. Right above where the line comes out there is a plug. That is where it is squirting from.. Sorry for the confusion, & not knowing the proper name of it.
