White 2-105 hours

I have a 1977 white 2-105 that I have around 7500 hrs. I just put on a rebuilt fuel pump for the first time. I have owned tractor since 1994. Curious how long this machine should last and what others totals on original engine is?

Had a customer last fall come in to get an overhaul kit for his 1975 2-105 with 12,000 hours on it and as I remember just had to have the crank polished and put standard bearings back in it. He uses nothing but CENPECO and it was REALLY clean inside that engine.

I have a neighbor that has a 105 that rolled over to 17000 hours. They thought it's getting due for an overhaul.

I've got neighbors with 2-85s over 15K or more, mercilessly hammered and poorly maintained, theyre tough machines. Why does it always seem that the White is the most abused tractor on a farm? Most of these guys are red or green guys and treat the White like a 2nd class citizen and are always talking bad about it, but everytime you go past the place, the White is doing one of the hard jobs (blower, bagger, manure pump, etc)?
