E-5 Co-op Tractor

Last Saturday I bought a 1953 model E-5 Co-op tractor at an auction in central Kansas..Several people commented that I should leave it original,so I think that I will leave it as is....Its a straight nice running tractor with quite a bit of the original paint...

Originals are getting harder to find every day. Once you take the first piece of sand paper to it it'll never be the same again.

Its a beauty just like it sits. I find that for whatever reason, an old tractor in its work clothes has more appeal than a repaint in my opinion.

That is a very good original tractor. I found and bought my Dad's 50 from the same farmer that bought it at my Dad's auction in 1963, it was still original when I bought it in 2007, and I am leaving it original. I have another 50 that is being restored, only a few pieces of sheet metal (all primed) left, but not finish painted. I had both at the ICCI summer show last year in Beaver Dam, WI.
