Hi everyone, new here. :)
I have an Oliver 60 Row Crop and can't find the serial number to figure out the year for the life of me. I found one plate on the side of the engine, the serial number on that is 613760. There is a box to the right of that on the same late on the motor but I can't make anything out at all. Any help, ideas? Much appreciated!

(quoted from post at 17:08:15 04/19/15) That is the tractor serial number. Built in 1945, probably after the war was over.

Thank you. I was thinking that the engine number was different from the serial number.

Could I ask you a few more questions?

Would you happen to know where I could get the sider curtains for it reasonable? Are the cultivators hard to come by? And lastly, when the tractor starts to warm up it is puffing smoke. Could that be the valves or the rings, what is your opinion?

Thank you very much!

I'm in Michigan and those culivators are hard to fine, they've all been scrapped out bc
no one even cultivates anymore. Ie been trying to find one for my 770 just found a 6 row
I hope. Probably rings I think valve seals will leak more cold not hot. And grand blanc or
Steiner parts would have them but theure in Michigan but do ship. Grand blanc is used,
Steiner is new. I always thought one of those 60s would be a nice tractor to just run a
two row cultivator on. Just a good little tractor for around the yard and simple jobs that
you could enjoy in the summer.
