White 2-88 red stripe

I have a white 2-88 with the tachometer that is driven by the magnetic pickup mounted on bracket at front pulley of motor. It also has the rpm/ground speed switch. I sent the tach to ag express electronics and they repaired it but it's not functioning properly. I'm thinking there's some wrong wiring on the tractor, since the pickup sensor was new as well. Anyone know about these or have one I could compare wiring to?

There is a wiring schematic in the owners manual. What is the tach doing/not doing? On my 2-110, I had a working tach, but no mph, ended up being a bad ground.

I bought be tractor and it didn't work at all... No needle movement and no hour Meter. Sent to ag express they replaced some parts and said it was fixed. They also tested pickup sensor and switch. Following the wiring diagram and hooking it up I get weird needle movement and it jumps to 1500 rpm and stays there once started. It's acting like a bad ground but I've spent a lot of time checking it. There's a few wires that do not match color and position per wiring diagram. For instance, there's an extra plug in dash for digital tach, The position of wires in extra plug don't match the diagram. It's a 2-88 manual but something doesn't match.

What I need to know is the signal terminal on back of tach, Where is that wire coming from ? The print shows it going down to the circuit board with all the warning indicator lamps and the pickup sensor goes directly to the rpm/speed switch.

Also the switch wiring, Any PIN numbers on switch labeling what's top or bottom for wire position are gone, I tried numerous combinations with no luck. A picture of back of switch and where that signal wire from back of tach is going would really help....

And once switched to ground speed it drops down to below 0. So I deffinetly have something wrong wiring wise
