You definitely have water in your differential fluid. I had the same condition when I bought my Super 55. Drain the fluid, go to TSC and buy a couple 2 gallon jugs of their cheap hydraulic fluid. Put that in the box and drive it around (gently) for a few minutes to emulsify the remaining goo in there. Drain that out and fill it with 90 wt GL1, although GL5 will work as long as you got most of the water out.
My PTO shaft leaked. Replacing the external seal fixed it.... guess I got lucky.
Both of my brake shaft seals leaked too. They were a stinker to replace.
