Cockshutt 20 Deluxe Laboring Cure

The last post I said that it acted like the governor was holding it back. It would not come all the way up on RPM's. I put new points & condenser in it now it's fine. How much play is allowed on the dist. shaft ? The shaft has between 1/32 & 1/16 play. Is this to much? If so who in W. Pa. can rebuild a Autolite Dist. ? Or is this something I can do myself?

Hi,
We have the two distributor shaft bushings on stock for the original Auto-Lite Distributor.. We sell many of these. Most can do this work themselselves.
