Looks like a re-ring and valve job will fix it. Someone has been there before. Rods
and mains have been turned. Broke off head bolt left broke off. Rods in backwards
unless Waukesha numbered them opposite cam and from the flywheel forward
instead of number one up front.

Got motor apart. Crank has been turned 010 on rods and mains. One set of rod bearings looks like was installed full of dirt. Federal Mogul bearings. No part number stamped in. Faint ghost of a number that looks to have been etched on and appears to be 14358B. Haven't visted AGCO dealer yet as they are 50 miles away to see if any chance at finding a 010 under pair. Sleeves and pistons are in specs but cylinder polished as slick as glass. Guessing former person in there turned crank, installed new rings and didn't hone cylinders. One rod bolt broke thanks to being well over 100 ft lbs. One head bolt was broken off and just left that way. Rubber lip seal was installed in front cover but it was too thick and crank pulley destroyed it. Original cork seal still inside. Rods were installed with the offset facing to outside on the outer cylinders and towards each other on the inner cylinders. Is this correct? Looks like motor was assembled out of parts from several. Couple rods stamped number 2, one marked 4 and one not at all. Would appreciate pointers on orientation of offset as my manual indicates all rods the same, orientation is oil hole towards cam. Rods have oil holes on both sides so that is no help.

Pointer on locating cork seal for the front, 010 under rod bearing, and rod orientation and does piston orientation matter would be appreciated.

Thanks,
