Oliver Superior #38 drills

Picked up couple grain drills this past week, the guy actually had both these for sale but sold the steel wheel one before I could get to them. Lucky the guy who bought the steel wheel one changed his mind and put it back up for sale. The rubber tire one is missing few parts so I used that one for parts for the steel wheeled one. Spent the day yesterday getting it ready, then dug my patch, spread manure, dug some more, and planted barley. I'm pretty excited I'll finally get to use my combine this year. Last photo is my pickup. After I got back from picking up seed from a friend noticed my fuel tank is bout ready to fall off. For once it wasn't a strap rusting apart it was the hole in the frame where the strap hooks into rusted out. Ugh my work just never ends. Have a Happy Easter everyone.

I saw a pair of spokes with the thin rubber tires for one of those on CL the other day. Weren't cheap though. Seems like they wanted $300 for them.

That gas tank fallen down could have turned nasty going down the road, sparks flying and gas dribbling out!!

I actually have a pair of the thin rubber tires, come from the fella I got my 840 chopper from.

pickup is diesel, still woulda been bad but wouldn't blow to kingdom come

Yep, wouldn't blow, but a friend had a tank bracket break on a semi one nite and spray back on the drive tires and catch fire. Burnt it to the ground.
