Looking at an 8' back blade, it's the beefiest blade I'v seen, goes by the name of Big Ox. Has dual hyrdaulics, nice blade.

Been hard finding one that is strong enough for the HP, this one is not a problem.

Got me thinking what can the 3 point on an 1850 lift. I don't think it will be a problem, but... Anybody ever put something on the 3 point that it couldn't lift?
 
The only thing I ever tried with mine that it wouldn't do was to try to pull a 35 foot deep well pipe.
I use a 200 gallon three point sprayer on mine. The water alone is probably heavier than that blade.
 
If it won't pick up the blade, you have a problem with your hydraulics. Back in the 70's, I pulled a 3pt 8X 38"row folding rear mount cultivator with my 1850. Just had to add more front weights. Chris

Here's a link to one like it except the one I'm looking at has hydraulics. Look at the steel beam on the back of the blade. It's a government auction web site :)

I don't think you'd have any trouble at all with that. If you did,it would mean the o-ring on the piston was getting bad,and even then it should lift it,just might not hold it without some bouncing.

I picked up a 20 foot JD flex head with mine, had a double L bale mover on, didn't have faith that it could do it but it did it, the 4020 would have just raised the front end up, but not on the 1850.
 
Hello all I use a 121 bush hog blade with a 1650 its a 9 ft. Big Ox made a heavier blade than that back about 71 I think it weighed in at 1300 lb. Used it on a 1950T to back fill trenches from a Buckeye super D played with it at 1200 rpm.
 
1300, I was going to transport it with my half ton pickup. Wow, I knew it was a lot.

Thanks for that info, couldn't find anything on it.
