Going to overhaul the carburetor on 65 1550 oliver book says marvel schebler tsx 903 but their is a zenith carburetor on it.was this a replacement or somebody's update .what would be the best way to go replace the zenith with the correct one or fix what I got? Right now I think all that's wrong is the floats stuck because gas is running out and if it runs it will only go a few minutes then shut down . Dumped old gas and cleaned all the way to carburetor that's next . Thanks

First thing I'd do is just take the bowl off,pull the pin and take the float off. Make sure there isn't a flake of rust or speck of dirt between the needle and seat and that there isn't a hole in the float so it's not floating.

That was it a piece of hay above the needle. I wasn't sure what I was getting into and after yesterday anything seemed possible. Took the tractor uptown to get one rear tire fixed OK it's low right side driver's side and guess where they put a tube in yup left side .130 bucks to fix the wrong tire .then the neighbors are plowing and that has to be wet plus clay hope them horses can get it stomped down .thanks

pretty sure the zenith is a replacement and I wouldn't put the MS back on it. From what I've looked into the zenith is a better UP grade to the MS.
