Read the article in the Oliver Collector on you and your tractors. Interesting reading, for sure, and probably mirrors the majority of Oliver guys. All of our Oliver's are in working clothes, also. About the only "restoration" that gets done is a little spray paint on the really rusty spots occasionally.
Daniel Stamms article brings back memories, too. My grandfathers first tractor was a Fordson. My fathers memories of that Fordson were MOST definitely NOT fond. About the only fond memory Pop ever had of that Fordson was the day Harvey Firestone came tooling in the driveway and installed rubber tires on the thing for a free trial. My father carried an unmitigated hatred for anything with the Ford name on it to his dying day because of that old rattletrap. One of my sisters bought a mustang for her first car, just to needle Pop!
