diesel fuel in crankcase

Hey guys, I have a 1958 Oliver 550 that is getting fuel in the crankcase. I had this problem last year and found the diaphragm in the lift pump was bad. I fixed that and all was good for a short period, but now it's happening again.
What's the chances my injection pump is the culprit?
When the weather breaks I plan on pulling the lift pump back and checking that again but I'm doubtful the new diaphragm is bad already.

Could be either the lift pump or the shaft seal on the IP.
Just because the LP diaphragm is only a year old don't mean a thing.

Your tractor should have the early Bosch injection pump since they didn't start using the RM rotary pump until 1960 @ S/n 110 016.   The Bosch pump won't leak at the shaft.   The Bosch pump isn't likely to leak fuel, thus it is probably the lift pump again.

If you can rule out the supply pump the PSB injection pump lower head seal and/or the control unit O ring may be leaking under the side cover. Just resealed a Case PSB for the same trouble.

Ok, is this something I could do myself without any special equipment?
I am a diesel tech on heavy trucks so the basics won't be a problem. Never really been inside an injection pump like this one, we just send em out.

Also is there somewhere I could see a parts breakdown so I could get a better idea of what you guys are saying could be leaking

Really appreciate the help fellas!

If it's a psb pump (not familiar with this model tractor), then it
could be what dieseltech stated. My cockshutt 570 was
doing the same thing, replaced that o-ring and seal, now so
far so good.
