I posted that mist green 880 here, but it was the day before the sale as I didn't find out about it till late. It was crazy. money it brought.
I wasn't at the sale but a friend was so I'll ask him about it when I see him.

Is there something special about that serial number? Not questioning anything. Just Curius?

The auction site stated the mist green paint was used for a 5 day run only, and only 249 tractors were produced with that paint code.

I don't know how accurate the info was they posted, but that's what they were reporting on the auction site prior to the sale.
