White 2-150 striping

I picked up some 2-150 panels out of a salvage yard. A picture of one side panel is attached. I expected to see a gray panel with white stripes.

I'm mostly curious if this is a factory-correct decal or if it was done "aftermarket". The "red stripe" tractor images that I have found online were similar to the 135 or 155 series with a solid dark red stripe/band.

I don't think there ever was a red stripe 2-150 was there? They had gone to the 2-155 long before the second series.

Here is another picture.

The panels have the correct 2-150 part number, but that was written with a paint marker, so it could be unreliable. I did not check to see if the part number is stamped anywhere on the underside of the panel. I will also check and see if they recorded the tractor serial number or not on any of the tags used to ID the parts. The panel does appear to have the pre-"red stripe" WHITE letter emblems.

Ya,because where the lettering on the decal says White Farm Equipment,my Series 3 2-135 just has WFE above it,not White.
Kinda like painting the wheels white on a Fleetline I guess.
This is a series 3,but when I repainted the sides and the cab top,I ordered the wrong decals. These are for the second series.

No 2-150s had red stripes, red stripes started on '81 or '82 I believe, the red stripes had charcoal frames to instead of black, and all 2-150shad black frames and were only made '75 to '76 I believe, don't even know if they made them all year in '76

mine has the small red stripes not like the 155 series 3, i figured it was after market stripe kit. i really like it like that

I found this while scouring the web.

Is this another incorrect decal application? The striping is nearly identical to the panels I have less the 2-150 on the front. From what I have found, the 2-155 decal kit appears to also share the same color pattern which I think you guys alluded to earlier in the thread. Do you think its possible that they changed the striping just before changing the series?

I am just trying to determine if the decals/striping on the panels I have are/could be correct or if they are dead wrong.

That ones not right, no 2-150 had a charcoal frame, that ones defiantly been repainted to look like that, when there all restored right with the silver stripes I persopnally think they look good but that's just me
