I have always been interested in a crawler. A small one, with D8 pulling capacity would be great but have to be realistic, lol.
I own nothing Oliver, know even less, except a Cousin has completely restored an OC3, and WOW is it nice!
There is a 3 way trade possible, a trailer for a OC3, and then an Allis D12 III with 2 speed reduction for it.
Problem is, the OC3 has had the motor replaced with a large air cooled engine, and the sheetmetal and radiator, original engine, and who knows what else changed out. What appears to be a 12v hydraulic pump powers the single lift cylinder that raises the added front blade. It is supposed to run and operate, with 90% undercarriage, but my question is...are there parts available to put it back to the 4 cylinder water cooled with sheet metal at anywhere near a reasonable cost? Size and weight are a plus to me, and the fact that it has a pto is huge.
Just how hard are replacement parts to come by for this crawler?
