Cockshutt 570 gas vs Oliver 660 gas value?

Which tractor in your opinion has a greater collectability value? A Cockshutt 570 gas or an Oliver 660 gas.... asuming both tractors in the same shape, and having about the same features, such as wfe. Etc....

Both are relatively rare tractors but I'd say the 660 would be more valuable because there are whole lot more Oliver collectors/buyers than ones looking for a Cockshutt.I like/own Cockshutts and Olivers but given a choice and both were about the same condition I'd take the 660.

I'd have to go with the 660 too. I believe there are more 570's in this part of the country than there are 660's.

I'll pick the 660 also, they always seen to bring descent money for what they are and 570s I always seem to see for sale and don't seem to bring as much in the same condition around here, and I also think the 660 looks a lot sharper than the 570

Since we are asking, were there any 570 gas tractors in the 2 tone paint from the factory? Due to the dealer being a poor dealer there was only 1 570 gas around here and we sold about 10 or 12 660's all which were old enough they never had the small decals. Once you put bolts in the differential they were very trouble free.

I can't say on the 660 but I do know the 570 gas is fairly rare. 570 Diesels are much more common. Ive maybe seen 20 or so diesels but only 1 gas 570 and it was in a wrecking yard in Alberta.

Just guessing I would say from what I've heard is lees than 100 570 gassers built.I've seen some that had retrofitted gas engines as pullers with the 339
Hercules.

guess it would depend what side of the fence you are on. I am a Cockshutt person so the 570 would be my preference. They made the gas tractors in 1958 thru 1960, no gas tractors were sent from the factory with the red bellies only the supers were that color and they did not make any supers in a gas version.
They made more diesels than gas, so the gas is harder to find.
I go with the 570 gas, nothing bad about the 660, just not my color,(they did make a 660 Cockshutt version, and I could go there) Dave
