I would like an easier clutch pedal . something that a kid 10 12 year old can push down for my brothers grand kids . it's now a hard pedal to push it's an eight inch pulling clutch and holds about 50 hp at 1600 rpm . it has a 9 inch bolt circle on the fly wheel is there a heavy duty clutch that will fit on that bolt circle that is easy to push . any help will be appreciated . thanks

I might have a picture but don't have a clue where but when I first got my 77 from my grandpas estate there was a homemade extension u-bolted to the clutch pedal so there was another flat pad about 3in. above the clutch pedal so you had more leverage to push it. I can try and find a pic or mock something up to take a pic if you'd like?

that may work any help will be appreciated , the children may have to drive the 770 a 3 year old could push that pedal .

If you have Kevlar faces put on your clutch you can use a stock pressure plate and it will hold more than 50 horses. When I had a 129 horse power 310 I had 11" Kevlar clutch with stock pressure plate held it just fine. Still have that clutch set up in my 77 and is very easy to push down, the 310 is long gone. thanks Chuck , I've got a button clutch with heavy
springs now can you recommend some one on the
Kevlar?

Dave, I can't, the guy that did mine is now out of business and I can't locate him. I would just search the net to find someone. Chuck

I'll call Jeff Duty over Richmond and if he can't
call Carolina Clutch in Hickory , Nc. I don't know
any more than that thanks Chuck . anyone else have a
good clutch re-builder ?

I think a 77 or 88 flywheel might fit, should be easy enough to check with all the room back there on the 66. Or how about a clutch pedal off a super 66. Chuck
