I have a problem with the tach drive cable on a Super 66, the cable rubs on the steering knuckle. If I turn the drive up one bolt hole the cable points to high and might kink.

I am wondering if I can take the drive apart and reverse it to gain clearance, any other suggestions?

I have two 660 tractors that have the same tach drive as the Super 66.   I have photos of them in original condition.   The drive goes to the rear parallel to the steering shaft.   The cable housing is banded to the oil pressure gage line, wire to the coil and wire to the regulator to keep it out of the steering.
