Have a 1655 with a intermittent starter problem
where it won't crank over. Seems worse when it is
out in the cold. It is in a heated shop now and
hasn't caused any problems. When it acts up it
won't dim the lights so it's not drawing a lot of
current. Did some voltage drop tests and had .53
volt drop across the solenoid. Do you think this
is enough to cause a problem? It is a gas tractor
with a diesel starter. Thanks.
