Hydra power oil change

We are working on the 1600 and looks like hydraulic oil in the hydra power and just wondered if you guy's just drain oil and use the Hytran? My 1650 still has the ATF so figured if I change it do I need anything more than oil and filter?

On a 1600,I'd flush it out and go back to ATF. I didn't have much luck running Hytran in the Hydrapower on my 1850. They switched to Hytran in the bigger, newer ones because the ATF was too thin and they were failing, but the ATF works best in the older ones in my never to be humble opinion.

Thanks Randy, I figured you would know and you had mentioned hytran in a previous post. The brake housing seals are leaking bad so are going to pull them next. Does your hydra power dipstick hit the fuel tank when you pull it out it seems longer than my 1650. Thanks again. Greg

No,none of the dipsticks hit the tank. The throttle linkage is in the way on a few of them though.
