Aftermarket 3-point for 77

Found someone selling an aftermarket 3-point that he took off a standard 77 diesel when he sold it. Buyer of the tractor didn't want. Any problems with these types of set-ups? This one bolts to factory drawbar mounts on transmission housing.

Forgot to add that I'd be putting it on a 77 narrow front row crop.

I'm going to assume it makes getting on/off tractor from behind difficult.

Many years ago I built one form scrap that looks a lot like that one. I have it on my 1950 Oliver 77 and it works just fine. As for on and off I use it a lot. Have it lowered then step on and hit the control and it lifts me up then I can step forward easy. But I do tend to start it when on the ground. Back off you step on the arm and then lower your self

That 3-point doesn't look like it has the ability to float and is always locked in whatever position you set it. I had one like that on my 77 and was a real pain in the butt.Replaced it with one that can float. Chuck

you may need to do a bit of bending on the pto engagement lever so that it will fully engage without hitting the cross bar on the 3 point. factory 3 points had a linkage system for the engagement lever that put it further forward so it would not interfere.
