I am fixing up the fenders on my 1955 Super 55. After I got all the paint off, I see there has been some damage to the fenders with some brazing. I have cleaned them up, and removed the channel brackets (ribs) that are spot welded to the fenders. None of them are the same arc and may have been damaged.
I also saw in the parts book that there is only one part number for both the right and left fender, so I am guessing they should be symetrical from the center rib. Has anyone done a rebuild on their fenders and can shed some light on this for me?
