2-105 clutch dragging sometimes

My 2-105 shifts hard sometimes and sometimes not. Seems like the clutch won't release at times but if I let it out and depress the pedal again it will release. Wondering if it could be a worn transmission input shaft not allowing the disc to float freely or if it could be something else?

Is it hanging up when the Over/Under is in direct or overdrive and not hanging up when it's in underdrive?

I know that it can hang up in overdrive then I put it into direct to release the sprag. But the clutch seems to drag when trying to shift into a gear from neutral. Then when the clutch is re-engaged and disengaged it may release on the second or third attempt.

It could very well be the pilot bearing. the input shaft goes threw it. if it is going bad it can lock up and drive the tractor even though the clutch is disengaged. The next time it may work. That will require the engine and O/U to be pulled. There is no way to grease this bearing.
