What is the original cylinder bore on a 53 77 gas? Also where is a good place to get ring sets and sleeves for one at a good price? Thanks

Nick, What are you going to use the 77 for? You can buy the sleeves and pistons from Yesterday's Tractor. I think the original bore was 3 5/16" Chuck

Thanks chuck I checked the rings on here but the ones that weren't over bore we over 100 I haven't measured yet but I think it is stock. I'm not sure what I'll use it for yet I do know I won't be pulling though till I find something for more than riding or pulling a trailer its a project tractor

Measure your rings. If original the pistons will be cast iron, however about that time changes were made in the width of the oil rings. So measure bore diameter and ring width!

If you need rings for 3/5/16 bore NAPA can get them. $34.00 for rings and $25.00 special order 6 to 8 week delevery.
