77 rod caps

Does anyone have any tips to get the piston rod caps the pistons are stuck and I think if I can get the caps off I can knock them out I took the bolts off and I'm not able to pull the off by hand is there a way to do it?

Just tap the edges by the bolts with a small hammer.

If tapping doesn't work, I put a longer 3/8" bolt in the rod cap and hit it with a hammer. Use ViseGrips to hold bolt. Alternate cap holes and do not hit too hard.

Thank you! I will try and get them off the next time I'm back at the shop guess the tapping was kinda an obvious thing to try
