1550 Hydraulic Oil Change

I put a hose with a male nipple in a remote outlet and put it in a pail, then pump it out. After I get all I can get out that way,I use a small hose on a hand pump to suck the last of it out the dipstick fill hole. That pan has quite a dip in the middle of it and sucking it out that way is the only way to get the last of it.

What RRLund said + I found that being the tractor is high in the front end its best to run the tractor rear wheels up on some blocks so you get more oil out and easer to use a hand pump on. If yours has water in it you need to drain as much as you can then add 2 gallon or so of clean oil and start it back up and let it run a while to get more of the bad oil out by pumping it out through the remotes. I did a 1555 this way this summer. Bandit
