throw out brg. ? 77

The throw out brg. on my 77 I assume is friction fit on to the tube? do I need a puller to get this off?

The manual suggests you use a press and be careful to make sure when installing the new bearing, to make sure it isn't cocked and is true to the tube. Also, it mentions that you repack the relief groove in the clutch release sleeve.

Repacking the groove is important. Now There was a kit which can be made up to convert the throw out bearing to a greaseable throw out bearing as well. Simple to do. You don't need a press. Questions?

Also check the adjustment on the release levers at this time. I had a spare flywheel all drilled ant tapped for all the clutches. Just take yours off and get the key stock and some feeler gauge and adjust it. I forgot to tell you that. J.
