1800 rear end

Been thinking about building another 1850 diesel puller for naturally aspirated classes. Would a 1800 rear end bolt up to a 2-85 white tub frame without alot of work (want it to look factory). Trying to get as light as possible. Thanks

Oh boy, I forget, used to know. Too bad you don't have both tubs to measure, maybe someone could post the dimensions here if they have one.

I don't see why it wouldn't. Did the 1800 not use the 8 bolt u pattern that all the others did?

I have a 2-135 tub on a 1855 rear.

Should work. The 15 & 16 models used one size, then the 17 on up used the same larger pattern.

Ok is there any difference between a 1850 gas and a 1850 diesel rear end?
