Oliver 500 swinging drawbar

I knew I'd never find a swinging drawbar for the 500,so I made one. It's not quite the same as the original,but it mounts the same.
The original frame was channel iron,bent in to shape. I used angle iron and welded it up. The drawbar itself is a piece of beam off an old Deere F145 plow.
The top picture is mine,the bottom is a picture of an original that I found somewhere.

Now you need to find belt pulley, I think there were two different ones.I always though I would like to have collected a full set of the imported Olivers. J.

That makes two of us. If you ever run across a 600,reasonable,let me know. I think I've got a better chance of finding a 500 drawbar though than a running 600.

The tractor in your post belongs to me. Just got it finished and will post pictures of it on this forum in the near future. There was 500 at Fawcetts salvage with a drawbar but that was at least a year ago. Found a carcass 500 near me, going to look at it in the spring when the snow is gone.
