Have a guy trying to sell me a 1465.Anyone have one of these? Good or Bad? I see Import Tractor has very few parts for the 1465 compared to my other Fiats and a starter is $800(ouch!)

We sold 1 1465. The gentleman who bought it was somewhat elderly at the time and didn't abuse his equipment. He liked the tractor and it was sold with his farm after he died. My memory is subject to the time elapsed, but I don't remember his ever buying anything for the tractor by way of parts other than filters. See rrlund's post below.

Dad has one, well technically the neighbor has it most of the time. He must like it because he hasn't brought it back home yet. Lot beefier tractor than our 1255 and 1365, but haven't had to look for parts for it, so don't know how available they are. You might give Rick Stair a call, he could definitely tell you whether parts will be easy to find or not.

Had a 1465 years ago, was a good power house for its size, hydraulics were SLOWER than the 1600-1650-1855, if I remember right it wasn't to thirsty under load, planter, 9 ft hay conditioner, only 1 remoter which bugged me till I mounted a 2 way deal on the back so I could run my 510 JD round baler. Finally traded it to Gunner Hanson Imp at Latimer, IA for a 4-150.
